Halldór Kiljan Laxnes

Halldór Kiljan Laxnes, an Icelandic writer & a Nobel price winner, does indeed deserve to win the 1st price dreamer awards.

Very young, he went over to Denmark to study, with as much as no money and no place to stay, the first thing he did was to let a man make close for him. That was just his character, and a character to my liking! He gave out many books and is considering the greatest writer of Iceland, at least of the 20th century, some would say that the writer of the Icelandic saga was the greatest one. Snorri Sturluson.

When Halldór was just a small boy, he loved writing stories. He said one time that the stories that he wrote as a boy, where better then he wrote later and as we know, gave him the Nobel price. Unfortunately his mother took them by a mistake and burned them, because it was a very cold day and no heating in the houses at that time! He was a little angry to his mother for a vile, but it was impossible to get the writings back, so no reason to be angry for a long time. Then he was about 10 - 13 years old.

He was everything, he was accused to be a communist and he was, but this was in the time of the cold war, but he was smart and maybe the only man Iceland could be prod of that moment.

Halldór wins the award because he let his dream come true. Because he went to Denmark with no money and boot him self some close!
